Act! has the ability to calculate fields based upon the values in other fields. You can either calculate based upon a number field type or a date field. For example, with a date field you can calculate the number of days until a closing date for a loan for the number of years since an anniversary or birthdate
Assuming we already called birthdate, we want to now create a calculated field for the age of the contact that can be done by going to tools defined fields in creating a new field with the type of calculated field next option is to base this upon birth date field and select the days or the years since the field then you can add this to the layout and your age is calculated automatically
