Accessing ACT! Premium Mobile

  1. Open the browser on your mobile device
  2. In the browser’s address bar, enter the website you would normally use to access the database from a browser on a PC, followed by /m. For example, if your URL is "http://123.45.67.89/" then your mobile site would be “http://123.45.67.89/m"
  3. Enter the username and password used to access your database
  4. Under Remember my username, if desired, tap to remember your username, otherwise tap Log On

Act! Premium Mobile includes the following features:

  • Direct access to Contacts, Opportunities, Calendar, Groups, and Companies
  • Create and access full notes and histories, including attachments, for Contacts, Opportunities, Groups and Companies
  • Configure Contact, Company, Group, and Opportunity views by device
  • Activity viewing, scheduling, and editing
  • Task list with date, type, priority, and user filters
  • Email history recording
  • Ability to call Contacts by tapping their phone number
  • Call history recording

About Searching
Sage ACT! Premium Mobile* Search lets you enter more than just a contact's name. You can also enter a term or text that might be in any contact field, note, history, or attachment. Search results are displayed in a list that you can select from.
Note: To view an attachment, your device must support opening and viewing documents. You may have to download a mobile document viewer app.
When using Search on the Home page, type-ahead is not available. However, you can use special characters and operators with your search term to help find information. Special characters are symbols used to replace parts of a search term. Operators are expressions used to manipulate the TRUE/FALSE result of a search.

Contacts
You can work with contacts - add, edit, search, map an address, and more - in Sage ACT! Premium Mobile.

About the Contact Detail Page
A contact's detail page has several sections that contain actions for and information about the contact.

  • Quick Actions - Tap an item to quickly perform an action with the contact, such as "Call main number*" or "Map Address".
  • Details - Contains basic information about the contact.
  • More Details - Contains additional information about the contact, such as Title, ID/Status, and more.
  • Device Note - Contains notes entered from a mobile device.
  • Related Items - Contains activities, notes, and histories for the contact. You can search a contact's notes and histories.

You can customize the Contact Detail page to reorder how contact information appears.

Calendar & Activities
You can view scheduled activities on a calendar or in an activities list. Calendar pages have buttons that let you see your daily calendar, a list of activities, and a monthly calendar. Your calendar displays the first day of the week using the preferences set in the Sage ACT! Premium (access via web) desktop application on the Tools>Preferences>Calendar & Scheduling tab. You can set the work week to start on Sunday (set Sage ACT! Premium (access via web) to start the week on Sunday) or Monday (set Sage ACT! Premium (access via web) to start any day other than Sunday).
Daily calendar
The daily calendar displays scheduled activities for the selected day. Scheduled events, such as a Trade Show or Annual Seminar, appear in a banner at the top of the daily calendar. Tap the banner to see the details of the event. A link at the top of the calendar indicates if there are timeless activities for the day. Tap the link to display a list of the timeless activities. On the daily calendar, you can swipe left or right to go to the next or previous day.
Activities list
The Activities List page displays activities scheduled for each day in a list that you can scroll. Tap the Today button to go to today's activities.
Monthly calendar
The monthly calendar page shows the current month. Dates with scheduled activities have an indicator and the list of items appears below the calendar. Tap the Forward and Back arrows to move through the months.
Calendar actions
You can add, edit, delete, and clear activities from a calendar.
Alarms & Reminders
Alarms and reminders for activities are visible and available within the application if you are logged on to Sage ACT! Premium Mobile. The reminder uses the native reminder on your device.
Working with the Calendar & Activities
With Sage ACT! Premium Mobile, you can schedule, view, edit, and delete activities. Open the calendar or Task List to view scheduled activities, timeless activities, and events.

Task List
The Task List displays information for your scheduled activities. You can view details, such as type of activity (meeting), date and time, who the activity is scheduled with, the location of the activity, and more. By default, scheduled activities for all dates, types, and priorities are displayed in the Task List, but you can filter the list (that is, limit what appears on it). For example, you can limit it to only show high priority meetings scheduled for the current week. The header bar at the top of the Task List shows the filters you have applied to the list. Filters remain applied until you change them. If you are not seeing the activities that you think you should, check the filters.
Filtering the Task List
To easily find and take actions with activities in the Task List, you can apply one or more filters. Filters remain applied until you change them.
