Customizing the ACT Toolbar

  1. Open Act, right-click on the ACT toolbar, and select "Customize..."
  2. When the "Customize Menus and Toolbars" window opens, click on the "Custom Commands" tab
  3. Click the "New" button, enter "QuoteWerks" for both the command name and the tooltip text
  4. Click on the "Browse" button, and browse to the location of your Shortcut to the program you wish to start (for example Quotewerks)
  5. Select the application named "qw" and click the "Open" button
  6. Click on the "Add Command" button
  7. Click on the "Commands" tab and select "Custom Commands" from the Categories list
  8. Click on the "QuoteWerks" command, hold the mouse button down, and drag the command up to the ACT toolbar
  9. Right click on the new button and select "Image and Text (Always)"
  10. Close the "Customize Menus and Toolbars" window
